Thanks for Coming.

With a new site comes new responsibility: what’s that about dynamic content? With one book in print we don’t have many events to blog about, so we’ll take full advantage of the launch of Dragon Problems to populate this blog. Chris Carrier’s lovely children’s book will cause a minor stir at fine bookstores everywhere April 16 (read: Second Glance and The Art We Are in Kamloops, B.C. and this website). Stacey Buchanan’s illustrations ice Chris’s cake nicely: when you look into the eyes of Pickles—the family’s pet dragon—we dare you not to long for a chubby little dragon to throw in your own fireplace.

Dragon Problems will share the stage with pressplay’s Book of MPub at 4:30 on April 16th at SFU’s Harbour Centre in Vancouver for the launch to end all launches, and all school years (literally all, hopefully, as the day also marks the end of this year’s Master of Publishing cohort’s class work).

Books will be available at the launch. If you’d like to order your copy off the site and you live in Vancouver or Kamloops make sure to select the no shipping option. We are more than happy to hand-deliver your purchase (what service!).

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out the site. We look forward to being your one-title-a-year publisher of choice for many years to come.

Please let us know what you think: pat us on the back, tell your mom about us, or, even better—tell us we’ll fail as publishers and give us a B-.

Cheers,

Tracy and Kathleen.
